Mit dem Anniversary Update für Xbox One brachte Microsoft auch die Universal Windows Plattform auf die Konsole, die es ermöglicht, entwicklereigene Apps unter Windows 10 auch auf die Xbox One zu importieren. Das bedeutet, dass ihr Apps wie zum Beispiel die Windows 10 Wetter App oder den Podcast-Client Cast auch auf der Xbox One in eurem Wohnzimmer wiedergeben könnt. Eine spannende Entwicklung steht uns hier noch bevor.
Seit dieser Woche ist es nun auch möglich, dass Entwickler dank des Xbox Dev Mode Programms ihre eigens entwickelten Apps auch auf die Xbox One transportieren können – der Xbox Universal Store unter Windows 10 macht´s möglich. Auch hierzu gab es in dieser Woche ein Update für Xbox One Preview-Mitglieder. Ab jetzt können wir auch für die Xbox One immer wieder einmal mit neuen Apps rechnen, die wir bis dato nur für Windows 10 oder Windows 10 Mobile kannten.
Doch wo finde ich die ganzen Universal Apps, die auch auch auf der Xbox One nutzen kann?
Auf der Forenbasierenden Plattform Reddit trug ein User nun die ganzen Universal Apps zusammen, die momentan auch für die Xbox One verfügbar sind. Diese möchten wir natürlich mit euch teilen und listen diese unten für euch auf. Hier ist allerdings zu beachten, dass einige Apps nicht in unseren Gefilden verfügbar sind und ihr in der entsprechenden Region suchen bzw. eure Konsole umstellen müsst.
Wie installiere ich die Universal Apps auf meine Xbox One?
Klickt auf eurer Konsole im Edge Browser auf diese News und dann auf den Link in der rechten Spalte und auf der nachfolgenden Seite auf „Get the app“. Danach installiert das System automatisch die App, die dann unter „Bereit zum Installieren“ erscheint. Die jeweilige Beschreibung ist immer in Englisch.
